Eufy RoboVac X8 Pro Was Discontinued in 2025: What eufy Says, and What Replaced It

Round robot vacuum cleaning a wooden floor beneath a bench

eufy retired the X8 Pro in July 2025 after roughly three years on sale, and says so on its own blog. Any page quoting a current price for it — including the earlier version of this one, which said $399 — is describing something you cannot buy new.

★ Status as of 26 August 2026

  • Discontinued July 2025, per eufy
  • Original price: $699.99
  • Successors named by eufy: X10 Pro Omni, Auto-Empty C10, Omni E25
  • Replacement accessories and support continue, per eufy
  • Suction: 2 × 4,000 Pa — the maker’s claim

What eufy actually said

From eufy’s own blog: “In July 2025, eufy announced that the company will retire this model after almost three years of exemplary service.” The company commits that replacement accessories will remain available and that customer support continues — a better outcome than most discontinuations, if you own one.

The price history, corrected

eufy cites $699.99 as the original price. The only current retail listing we found was $649.99, flagged as no longer available in new condition. eufy UK still shows £549.00 with the self-empty station, £449.00 without.

The $399 this page previously carried appears to have been a past promotional price. It was never the standing price and it is not obtainable now.

The specifications, as published

  • Suction: 2 × 4,000 Pa, twin-turbine — maker’s claim, no independent measurement found
  • Dustbin: 335 ml
  • Self-empty station: 2.5 L bacteriostatic bag, claimed 45 days hands-free
  • Battery: 5,200 mAh — runtime not published
  • Navigation: LDS laser, marketed as iPath Laser Navigation
  • Water tank: 270 ml for mopping
  • Climbing height: 19 mm
  • Wi-Fi with the eufy Clean app; works with Alexa and Google Assistant
  • Dimensions, weight and noise level: not published

The mopping limitation, in eufy’s own words

eufy states that the “X8 Pro’s mopping function does not have the ability to identify carpets and automatically lift its mop”. You have to set no-mop zones manually or it will drag a wet pad across your rugs.

That is the biggest functional gap against the successors eufy points you toward, and a fair guess at why it was replaced rather than repriced.

If you already own one

It keeps working. Budget for dust bags — eufy’s only published guidance is that one 2.5 L bag holds up to 45 days of debris, with no price or interval given. Set your no-mop zones properly, and expect the laser turret to be the part most likely to fail first on a robot of this age.

We have not tested this product ourselves; where a figure is the maker’s claim rather than an independent measurement, we say so. Prices change — check the retailer before buying.
